Bio

Alissa C. Atkins graduated magna cum laude from Suffolk University with a Bachelor's Degree in History . Before attending Georgia State University College of Law to obtain her Juris Doctor, she worked as a litigation defense paralegal for several years. During law school, she served as Vice President of the Moot Court Board, and was a member of the Wagner Labor Law National Competition Team. Additionally, she clerked for the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation under the Third Year Practice Act as well as for the firm of Drew, Eckl & Farnham. She is a member of the Georgia Bar, and admitted to practice before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
